Start a tree removal service

So do you wanna start a tree removal service?

Have you seen them around town and interested in wondering what it takes to do-it-yourself? I am friends with 2 people who have each started there own tree removal service from basically nothing to now making 6 figures a year with more work then they can handle. To start  the costs are a little high than say mulching, but not extraordinarily so to say Louise the more you equipment you have the more things you do the better it could be to start but you wont-learn as much along the way and it also be harder it's also be hard to justify the cost buying everything when you're not sure if you can use it or have the the crew to use it with you.
The way this guy started his  His trigger mobile company was to start by climbing the trees and taking out whims and also dropping trees in open areas He started literally with just the climbing gear and a 2 chainsaws For chainsaws I cannot recommend still enough as there the ones they both use although there are other brands that are just is well known echo and a husky and so on but they swear by still both of these 2 guys for whatever reason I'm not gonna get into it might just be preference I can't really say Spikes rope henshaw that straps onto your belt chainsaw that loops onto your belt pump I'm sorry about police and a small saw and a larger chainsaw.
The goal is to buy this stuff used if you can maybe not the rope that's one thing I wouldn't want to buy used as you don't want your life dependent on it but that's up to you so you're gonna have to learn how to climb into trees and cut down limbs you're gonna have to learn how to drop a tree to the angle that you want we're gonna have to be able to pay attention on what's going on the other trees how tall something is when you're a little alligator wrote if you want new enough ropes to get you into the trees and to get you out of the trees to drop the trees in the angle to dragon when you if you want to get more equipment you're gonna want a ladder In a truck an S UV or a car with roof racks to say the least they'll hold this equipment in from there you're gonna want to upgrade your business next by getting a chipper and a dump truck
Tell market your business you can stop by going to networking events with other professionals usually it's a ton of real estate agents that show up to these networking events which actually works so well for you is there the ones working around the properties and homeowners trying to sell homes or buy homes and notice problem trees in a more adamant to try to get them cleared up The other possibilities is you get all the business professionals there who may be in an area where they have tree problems as well to take care of their business or I can't pitch it to a manager when the time comes and if somebody meets you there's your button it's really really what we've done button is true removal done in the stormy weather the stuff works out great for you something else you may want to consider for equipment especially when starting out would be a Slingshot they've specially designed slingshots that you shoot up into the tree to put it as a leader line before you can bring your actual climbing lineup behind it
When starting out advertising and marketing your business don't be scared to let people know at times that you are new and learning you're gonna want to keep your rates down competitively low so as to not lose money but also not to compete with the big guys because the jobs you're out to tackle are the one off or I should say small I need 1 tree down or I just need a couple of branches pruned.

I would even be willing to say when you 1st do it if you never cut down trees before you may want to talk to neighbors and friends and family to see if they have any problem branches or trees they need down that you can take down for them with you newly acquired gear for free just so you can learn how to gauge what it takes to take down a tree a branch or to make sure everything gets done in a certain amount of time you can learn how to tie yourself better clean up takes a little bit you might also want to consider a rake some buckets and a shovel starting out
